Action Challenge - 2015 School Camp

Children embarking on challenge

Towards the end of May, our Year 3,4,5&6 students, with the help of Mrs Large, Mrs Hall and Mr Duffy, embarked on their annual Camp Challenge. This year the  focus  was to develop leadership and  teamwork in a positive (and fun!)environment. Hosted held at Action Challenge, an outdoor education facility located near Hay Point, the students thouroughly enjoyed their time.

Throughout the three days, the students participated in a number of challenges that tested them physically, mentally and emotionally as they began to uncover the characteristics of strength, resilience and teamwork. These activities included a low/medium ropes course, flying fox, giant swing, leap of faith, camp fire cooking and even a surprise visit from a local musical trio!

Overall, the camp was a huge success. The staff would like to thank all parents and families that were involved in making this the event that it was.

We are already looking forward to next year with anticipation of whats to come!
